The Hangover Drip does three things at once — rehydrate, calm the stomach, and replace what a night out drains. It is the fastest way we know to get someone back to functional.

The Science

How Hangover Works

Alcohol is dehydrating and depletes electrolytes and B vitamins, which is a large part of why a hangover feels the way it does. The Hangover Drip restores fluids and those minerals directly through the bloodstream, so rehydration does not wait on a queasy stomach.

Vitamin C and glutathione add antioxidant support against the oxidative stress of alcohol metabolism, a full B-vitamin panel supports energy metabolism, and ondansetron — a prescription anti-nausea medication — is included to settle the stomach when needed.

At Forbidden Well, the Hangover Drip is administered in about 45 minutes by a licensed registered nurse under physician oversight, at our Union Square lounge or wherever our concierge team meets you.

Safety

Safety & Who It Is For

The drip is generally well tolerated. Ondansetron is a widely used anti-nausea medication; uncommon effects can include headache or constipation, and it is given only when appropriate for you.

Tell your provider at intake about heart rhythm conditions or medications that affect heart rhythm, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any allergies, so the formula can be adjusted. This drip supports recovery but does not make it safe to drive impaired or replace medical care for alcohol poisoning.

This is a wellness service, not a treatment or cure for any disease. Individual results vary.

Clinical services are provided by an independent, physician-led medical practice affiliated with Forbidden Well. Every drip is administered by a highly trained, licensed RN, NP, or PA under physician oversight.
