Hydration is the simplest thing we make — and sometimes exactly what the body needs. Sterile fluids and key electrolytes placed straight into your bloodstream, for when drinking water is not enough or not fast enough.

The Science

How Hydration Works

The Hydration Drip delivers sterile IV fluids together with electrolyte minerals — magnesium, zinc, manganese, and copper — directly into your bloodstream. Because it bypasses the gut, rehydration is more immediate and complete than sipping water, which is limited by how quickly you can absorb it.

The fluids restore circulating volume while the minerals support normal muscle and nerve function and healthy fluid balance. It is a common choice after travel, heat, illness, intense exercise, or a demanding stretch of work.

At Forbidden Well, every Hydration Drip is placed and monitored by a licensed registered nurse — at our Union Square lounge, or wherever our concierge team meets you in New York City.

Safety

Safety & Who It Is For

IV hydration is very well tolerated. The most common experiences are a cool sensation as the fluid runs and minor, temporary tenderness at the IV site.

If you have a heart or kidney condition that affects how your body handles fluids, tell your provider at intake so your session can be adjusted or deferred. Share any allergies and current medications as well.

This is a wellness service. Dehydration from a serious medical condition needs medical care, not a wellness drip. Individual results vary.

Clinical services are provided by an independent, physician-led medical practice affiliated with Forbidden Well. Every drip is administered by a highly trained, licensed RN, NP, or PA under physician oversight.
